Easy and Festive Farmhouse Fall Table Centerpiece!
October 2, 2020/
HAPPY OCTOBER FRIENDS!! I don’t know what it is about October but it has always been one of my favorite months. It’s the start of all good things: sweater weather, foliage, apple picking, pumpkin patches, and soon to be the arrival of our little one, eeeeek!
This year I decided to keep our dining table Fall Centerpiece simple, yet festive! My tablescape from last year was a lot more extravagant. But with our little man’s arrival coming soon and all of the projects we have completed this year (Nursery, bathroom remodel, our patio, etc.), I felt like it was only right to take it down a notch lol.
I found this red leaf garland when I made my Affordable Target Fall Decor post last month and I immediately fell in love and had to buy it. It was definitely my inspiration for the whole tablescape and I decided to use other items that I already had to create the rest of it! I will link everything that I can, along with some super similar items for the ones that are not available to link!

I wasn’t lying when I said I kept it simple lol. The good news is that this is something anyone can recreate for little cost! That is what I love about garlands. All you have to do is change up the garland you are using and it will look completely different for little to no money spent.
These placemats are the ones I DIYed, you can find that post here. But I linked some similar ones from Target that are only $5.99 each! I will definitely be purchasing some once these ones have seen better days.
The pumpkins are the same ones I used in my centerpiece last Fall from Michael’s but are sadly not available this year. It seems that most stores tend to change up what they carry each year. I linked a couple of options below that are similar in size and would also look great in a centerpiece, some of which I already own and am using throughout our home!
The leaf appetizer plates were a purchase from Christmas Tree Shops but I will link some other festive options that can be used as well! They only had two so I stuck to our everyday plates for the most part and just used them as an accent piece on the table ends.
I highly recommend checking out your local Target Dollar Spot. They always have the cutest seasonal decor picks, all $5 or under! That is where I found the cute little wooden accents to top the plates with!
You could easily throw in some cute candle stick holders as well to add a little bit of something. I have the silver ones ( no loner available online) that are the same as the gold set I linked below, but decided to just stick with the 2 bigger size candles. I was also tempted to buy the Gold ones from Target when I found this garland but I refrained.
The Harvest Blessing sign is from Christmas Tree Shops but I found a few other cute ones for Fall below! Etsy is always a great place for seasonal wood signs! They are a little bit pricier but every purchase is supporting a small business which I love!
Do you tend to keep your centerpieces simple or do you go all out? I love doing a mix of both, especially when I can mix and match fall decor that I already have stashed from prior years. If you are still stuck and not sure exactly what to do for your centerpiece this year, make sure to check out my Target Fall Decor post for so many great affordable options!
