Cozy Living: Bright Modern Farmhouse Guest Bedroom Reveal
Hello loves, happy monday! Today I am going to give you a little glimpse into my favorite room in our house. We bought our house 2.5 years ago and I am, believe it or not, still working on getting everything put together (sad face). But you don’t realize how much time and money goes into decorating a single room until you tackle one. It’s crazy!!!!
This is one of our guest rooms and it is the first room in our house that I have fully finished. I know, I am ridiculous lol. I think because it was the most empty and accessible room at all times I was able to put all (2 years of) my focus into it. Yikes, I’m a procrastinator. BUTT, many strolls down the aisles of my local stores went into each and every one of these pieces, and the details are something you just can’t rush. All good things take time, right?! That’s what I keep telling myself at least!
Anywhooooo… The decor came together exactly how I pictured and it gives me all the cutesy, modern farmhouse feels that I love. Also, did I mention the natural light in here, wow. If our king size bed would fit better in this room we would be using it as our master. Unfortunately, it would be a squeeze and the closet situation is not ideal for two people!
On another note, If we didn’t have a dog I would 100% decorate our master bedroom with all white everything because I just love how bright it makes the space, but no can do. He is worth it though!

Not too bad for a first timer, am I right? I guess watching HGTV so much has some what paid off for me. It really brought out the Joanna Gaines in me haha. But lets be real, nothing compares to her decorating. If the opportunity arose, I would let Chip and Joanna come knock down my house and build me a completely new one, at any given point in time. I’m here for it.

Thank you Andrea! Unfortunately they were both purchased from Home Goods & TJ Maxx and they are not sold online, i’m so sorry! I know the brand for the bedding is Nicole Miller, but I was able to find a few similar quilt sets and a bench that is a similar size and style if you want to check them out I linked them all below 🙂 Some of the sizes on the quilt sets are sold out but hopefully will be back in stock soon!

Hi Lee! Unfortunately, the room was already painted these colors before we moved in so I am not sure! I wish I knew because I would definitely use the colors again!

Love this room! I know you are not sure of the paint colors but I am trying to get a better sense of the shade that is at the top. Is it a white or is there maybe greenish tint to it? It seems to vary depending on the pic.
