Happy hump day friends! Christmas is officially ONE WEEK AWAY! I cannot believe how quick December flew by. The holidays are a very busy time and I am wayyy behind on my decor posts. Some may be coming at ya after Christmas, but we will make it work!
Today I am sharing my simple and affordable DIY Christmas tablescape with y’all! It isn’t quite as extravagant as my Fall tablescape but i’d say it’s pretty high up there in the bright and cheery category.
If I am being completely honest, it did not turn out quite as I had planned. But I was on a time crunch and wasn’t able to find everything I wanted. So I did what I could with what I had, and I am still very happy with it!
I will be linking everything I used at the bottom that I am able to find links for! I got most of the items I am using from Target!

Bright & Cheery Christmas Tablescape
I would have to say that this place setting right here is my absolute favorite! I had planned on using the mini wreaths on every one of the plates (shout out to Joanna Gaines), but of course my luck, they only had two of them. So I did some last minute improvising!
I found a berry garland at Joann’s when I was looking for the wreaths and decided to cut it into fourths and use it on the other plates that didn’t get a wreath. I figured they needed a little something to jazz them up!
I wish more things came in packs of six!
Both the Napkins and the holiday appetizer plates came in a four pack, so I ended up only buying one of the plates set. I just used my normal salad plate on top of the wreath and added the red ornaments for a festive accent on the end place settings!
Aren’t those napkins SUPER adorable? I saw them and immediately thought about how great they would look with the berry garland and the appetizer plates! I think they tie in very well!
I decided to go fairly simple with the centerpiece this year. I literally bought everything online from Target during cyber Monday and got some killer deals!
Also just a friendly little FYI, when I just went to get the link for the trees I noticed that they are only $2.10 right now!!! Even when they aren’t on sale they are only $3, which I think is a steal in itself! The ones I used here are a size down from the ones I used in my farmhouse Christmas bedroom.
I used three different sized candle holders (two of each) because I couldn’t decided on one size, lol. I do want to note that the candles I linked below don’t actually fit into the holders, I had to carve out the bottom of each one to make it work.
These candles are the ones that are meant to go with the candle holders. But I didn’t like the yellow with the color scheme I had going so I went with the white instead! I just like to make things harder for myself 🤷♀️
The only thing I would change about this tablescape if I could is that I would have a wreath under each plate. I will definitely be on the lookout next year for four more! I am sad that I could not find them online but I think it worked out alright!

Christmas is almost here ahhh, I can’t wait! Talk to you soon friends!
