Winter Front Porch Decor that is Simple and Festive
Hello friends! Can you believe that it’s almost 2020?! That’s just wild to me! Each year that passes seems to go by that much quicker. With that being said, I wanted to show y’all my winter porch decor before we blink and it’s like summer or something, lol.
I am obsessed with how it turned out this year! As you know from my farmhouse Christmas bedroom decor, I love all things flocked! As you can see I really stuck to that theme with porch decor as well.
I actually got to a point where I was wrapping a flocked garland around the two columns and had to shut it down because it got a little out of hand. Our porch looked like one big flocked tree and it needed to be simmered down a bit!
Between all the flocked greenery, the letters to Santa mailbox and the buffalo check pattern, it’s easy to say that this is my favorite porch decor yet. So simple, yet so festive. I will be linking everything throughout the post but will also be adding all the links in one spot at the bottom to make it easily accessible for y’all! That way you can enjoy all of the pictures first and not have to worry about it until your finished!

Is it driving anyone else nuts that the doormat isn’t laying flat in the front right corner and the wreath isn’t perfectly centered on the door?! 😂 It’s probably just me because I’m crazy. It’s so weird how your eye can get stuck on the smallest details lol, but moving on now…
This is actually the same wreath that I used in my farmhouse Christmas Bedroom and the same one mentioned in my cute & affordable farmhouse Christmas wreaths post. I LOVE it, and it was under $10!
Never thought I would find a flocked wreath that was this full and life-like for UNDER $10! I found the cute Buffalo Check Ribbon at Marshall’s for $3 and added it to the bottom because I knew it would tie in perfectly to the door mat!
But I have to say that I think the Merry Everything wreath hanger is what makes it all. The pop of gold in there is so good!
That flocked tree and the Happy Holidays mat were my only black Friday purchases believe it or not! I went out looking for porch decor to attempt to decorate early and here we are at the end of December and I am FINALLY showing this to you. It was a busy month my friends!
The tree is 4 feet tall which it really doesn’t look like it in the pictures. But I got my tape measure out and sure enough it is! It is pre-lit and was only $35, which I thought was a great price!
I went for a simple happy holidays door mat to match the rest of the theme! It’s on sale for $5.99 in stores, which is such a deal!
Guys, aren’t these black metal baskets so perfect?? It makes me cry a little inside that I can’t get y’all a link for these. I got them at T.J. Maxx but they don’t sell them online which is such a bummer.
They were so affordable though, I think it was like $12 for the big one and $9 for the smaller one! A lot of people are selling them on sites like poshmark or mercari but they are charging outrageous money, like $90 for the set?! They are a hot commodity apparently but I wouldn’t pay more than I did for them.
When I think of modern farmhouse decor or W.W.J.G.U. (What Would Joanna Gaines Use😂), baskets like these are always one of the first things that pop in my head. Magnolia is life! lol
I got the cute 36″ Flocked Fir tree from Walmart for $8, can you believe that?!
I wasn’t able to find a link for the greenery pine branches that I got at Michael’s, but I put 3 of those and some logs in the bigger basket and love how it looks!
We had a branch from a tree in our back yard fall and my wonderful Husband cut it up for me so that we didn’t have to spend an arm and a leg on some decorative birch logs. I originally was going to buy something like these, but I just can’t justify spending $40 on some decorative logs when we have woods full of them behind our house. No thank you!
Speaking of Magnolia…. How bout that mailbox?! Shout out to Target and Magnolia for this piece. I LITERALLY envisioned this mailbox for my porch and it just fell into my hands at Target! It was great!
Well, that smaller lantern was supposed to be filled with pine cones but come to find out I really dropped the ball on that one. Can’t really do anything about it now as I sit on the beach in Florida, whoops! Still cute though! I will be adding pine cones to it when I get home though lol.
The crate is the same one I used in my Fall Porch decor! I bought the crate unfinished from Joann Fabrics and then used one of my favorite stain colors on it! I was very happy when the base of the flocked tree fit perfectly in it!
If you decide to do a similar set up like this I highly recommend anchoring your tree down somehow! I secured the tree down with one of those sand draft guards because we had a few instances with the wind blowing it off of our porch lol.
What was your favorite part about my porch decor this Winter? I love how Simple and inviting it is. Makes me wish I had a bigger porch so that I could actually sit out there on a rocking chair to drink my morning coffee! But for now I just get to enjoy looking at it when I drive up my driveway everyday!
Thanks for coming by to hang with me today, I hope everyone has an amazing rest of the day! ❤
