The Sweetest Safari Nursery Reveal for our Baby Boy!
September 24, 2020/
I have been waiting for what feels like FOREVER to share this sweet room with y’all and I can’t believe that day is finally here! My excitement right now is through the roof! I will be 37 weeks here shortly and to think our little man could arrive at literally any time is just so crazy to me. The past 9+ months have gone so fast and I can only hope that time slows down when he gets here so we can enjoy every second of it, even though I know that it won’t. A girl can dream right?!
Today I am so excited to bring to you, the reveal of the sweetest safari nursery for our little boy. Even though it was a lot of work putting it all together, I loved every single second of it! As you all know, decorating spaces is something I love to do, but this room might be my favorite project to date. Knowing that we will be bringing him home to it makes it that much sweeter.
I’m going to keep this post short and sweet because I know everyone is just here for the pictures, lets be real lol. But my main goal for the room was to keep it light, keep it neutral and to create a space that he can really grow into and make his own one day.
Also, before we get started I wanted to note that I will be adding curtain rods and curtains. I wish I didn’t have to because I love the look of the natural bamboo shades without it. But we all know that babies need dark spaces to sleep and the light filtering shades sadly just don’t cut it. I have both, I just haven’t had a chance to hang them, along with our baby monitor! Those are next on the never ending to do list!
I will be linking everything that I can along the way, as well as at the bottom! There are some items that I am not able to link or that I could not find online but I will try my best to link some similar items!
Here are the Paint Colors we used for reference:
Walls – Old Prairie by Benjamin Moore Accent Wall – Camoflauge by Benjamin Moore Trim/Closet/Dresser – Simply White by Benjamin Moore

Can’t forget the cutest big brother ever! Not sure if he is smiling because he loves the room or because he could tell that I was finished with it, which means more ball time for him lol.
This dresser was an old one we had sitting in our garage and it was another DIY project that I did! I may make a blog post about it in the near future but for now I will link the hardware that I used to make it look new again! The color I used to paint it was Simply White by Benjamin Moore. You should have seen this bad boy before I painted it, it was the grossest brown color, eww. It looks a million times better now and I am so happy we had it to reuse because dressers are EXPENSIVE!
The 3 tier wicker storage tower was something I found at TJ Maxx for less than $40, but I originally got inspiration from the first one I linked below. I didn’t want to pay that price though so I am glad I found this one! It will make reaching for the diapers, etc. soo much easier and it’s cute so it’s a win win! I linked some other great options below!
If you missed my post last week on this amazing stencil wall DIY that I did, you can check it out here! This Giraffe Print Stencil is the one I used (size XL) and it was super easy and fun to do + way cheaper than wallpaper!
Home Goods always has the sweetest quote signs and this one was perfect for the nursery! Sadly, It isn’t online though! But I loved how the wood frame accents the wall!
I looked at hundreds of nursery prints on etsy and these ones were my favorite! I also loved that they had the option to either have them printed and shipped or just downloaded as a digital file, I linked both options above along with the frames I used. I chose the digital option because it was a lot cheaper and I could have them printed the next day somewhere local!
Our amazing cousin made us this baby blanket for our baby shower, isn’t it amazing!? It is probably the softest thing I have ever felt too and our little man is going to love snuggling up in it!
I got the elephant basket at Home Goods but I linked similar ones above! Also, the gray pouf is from World Market and they always have crazy deals going so make sure to keep your eye out for those so you don’t have to pay the full price for it! I think I got it for half off, because I love a good bargain lol.
I got so excited to take these pictures, that I forgot to put an actual picture in the frame… Whoops! At least it goes with the color scheme lol. I linked as many of the knick knacks I got for the shelves but a lot of items were purchased from Home Goods or TJ Maxx, do you see a theme here? lol I linked some other cute baskets + stuffed animal options though!
If you have any questions about anything above feel free to drop a comment below and my inbox is also always open!
If you are here trying to find some inspiration for your own safari nursery and want to see more ideas you can check out my ‘How to create an adorable and affordable safari nursery‘ post. I included SO many options to choose from there, including a lot of the items I used here 🙂
I hope everyone has a great rest of your week and a wonderful weekend!
