The Perfect Magnolia Finds for a Quick Bathroom Refresh

Gooood Morning to ya and happy Friday! It has been quite the week over here and I actually had to take the day off today so that we could get someone in to fix our BRAND NEW washing machine AND repair our boiler. It’s lovely being a home owner isn’t it?! I originally took Tuesday off for the washer and the tech never showed up, and then on top of that we realized that we had an HVAC problem that same day.

You know what they say, when it rains it pours lol. But that’s life and it happens! I will say that it is nice to have a Friday off and be able to catch up on some house work + get a extra long weekend so I’m not complaining!

Today we are going to be talking bathrooms! One of the many things on my to do list is to update our main bathroom. I’ve really just hated the bathroom ever since we bought our house. It’s one of those rooms that you walk into and are just like ughhh. The colors are just terrible and the space is pretty dark, which is not a great combination! But the bathroom is a decent size and the amount of storage we have in there is AMAZING, so I would love to make the most of it!

The reason I haven’t done anything with it over the last 3+ years of living there is because we are unsure of how extensive we want this project to be lol. But I do know that a new paint color, some new decor and a better organization system could really go a long way!

Upon looking into some new decor I came upon the new Hearth & Hand with Magnolia line at Target and I fell in love! I will never understand how Joanna does it but she is the goddess of all home decor. True fan over here! I am all about the modern farmhouse style but she can literally decorate for any style and I always LOVE the final product.

With that being said, I am an avid Magnolia shopper and had to share these bathroom finds when I saw them! One thing I really love about her decor is that most of it can fit into a LOT of different styles (modern, traditional, farmhouse, etc.)! I LOVE the idea of using these baskets and trays as storage. We currently are using those clear plastic bind with the white tops at the moment. I think it looks super tacky and it is on my near future to do list to update! You can also never go wrong with glass jars! They look so simple and clean no matter where you put them. You could even add a printed label to them if you wanted to spruce it up a bit!

We need some new towels badly! But both my husband and I are particular about the towels we use so I would have to check these out in store before buying them, but they are SO cute and I’m definitely going to see what they are all about! I will definitely be giving my bathroom a refresh, I just don’t know exactly when yet! I want to change up the decor and paint but you seeee… the problem with that is that everything I want doesn’t match the floor or the vanity. So I pretty much just want to start from scratch 😂. It’s quite the dilemma that I have here lol. Ultimately I feel like this job would end up going from like $200 to $5,000 real quick and that’s quite the price difference if you know what I mean. I may just start by tackling the storage and organization aspect first! Stay tuned lol.
