Hello friends, happy Tuesday to you!
So this weekend I decided to try something a little different and do a dressing room try on! I hope y’all are excited as I am because this is something that I want to try to incorporate more.
I had seen lots of other people do this and wanted to give it a try. I loved that it gave me the opportunity to see what stores have in person and to be able to try it on before actually buying it. Plus, it was a lot more wallet friendly upfront lol.
I love doing my Amazon hauls but in all reality it can get expensive and it can be time consuming to buy all of the items, do my try ons (take pictures & videos), make my blog post and then go through the process of returning items. Let’s be real, I would LOVE to keep all of the items that I include in my hauls. Unfortunately, for the sake of my closet capacity and our wallet, I have to pick and choose. Anyone who knows me, knows that making these kind of decisions is not my strongest suit, especially when I end up loving every single thing that I buy lol.
With that being said, I will still be doing Amazon hauls but I think rather than doing them monthly I am going to be doing them seasonally!
I did a poll on my Instagram to decide where I was going to do my first try on, and I don’t think anyone will be surprised when I say that Target won by a LANDSLIDE.
If you don’t like Target we can’t be friends. Just kidding… but not really. 😂 I’ve never met a single person that doesn’t love Target though.
You guys, I found a lot of good stuff!
I just want to say thank you to anyone who is here reading this and sticks around. This was my first attempt at a dressing room try on and there was definitely a huge learning curve to it. But the first go around helped me to realize what I will do next time and ESPECIALLY what I won’t do again!
I know what y’all are probably thinking. You’re just trying on clothes, how hard can that really be?! I’m here to tell you that it can be very stressful, especially if you are like me and want to try on everything because you love it all haha. Lesson learned and I can’t wait to do the next one!
Enjoy!
