Cute and Cozy Red Modern Farmhouse Christmas Bedroom Decor

Happy Sunday to ya! Two posts in one day?! Who am I? Just a procrastinator, that is all lol.

Today I am taking you on a tour of my cozy modern farmhouse Christmas bedroom. Red Plaid and flocked trees can turn any space into a Winter wonderland! I love how it accents all of the whites and mix of wood, metal and natural materials around the room.

Make sure to check out my Christmas porch decor while you are here!

Two things inspired my holiday bedroom decor this year. One, this beautiful faux flocked tree that I added in the corner (you will see it once you scroll to the bottom). Two, these red plaid pillow covers! These were my only two new purchases this year and they were just what I needed for a little holiday inspiration!

As you can probably tell from all of my other Christmas decor posts, I love adding red as my pop of color. I am normally an all neutral kind of gal but the holiday season makes me extra cheery 😉

I try to change up my decor each year to keep things interesting, plus it’s a nice little challenge for me to try to do with the decor I already have from previous years. I was inspired this year to throw in some fresh new pillows and added this cute little tray for guests to enjoy a book, a cup of coffee and a nice smelling candle!

If you want to see what the room looked like last Christmas, you can find that post here.

I love that pillow covers are super inexpensive. It allows you to switch them out often and not spend a fortune like you would if you were buying the pillow itself. If you don’t already have the standard 18″x18″ pillows laying around (which I’m pretty sure we all do), you can purchase a pack of them! I bought this one from Amazon and it was great, the pillows were nice and fluffy as long as you follow the directions when opening!

Amazon is my favorite place to buy pillow covers from because they are priced great and they have SO many options to choose from! If you are on the lookout for some new Christmas pillows, check out my Christmas pillow post here.

I am pretty sure I purchased this Mistletoe wood sign on clearance from Home Goods last year, and I was pleasantly surprised when I found the link to it on Etsy!

Houses and bottle brush trees are a huge trend this year, and I love it! I found this set of wooden houses in the target bullseye dollar section, one of the best places to find seasonal decor, and the bottle brush trees are from Walmart and were only like $1 each!

This tree made all of my flocked dreams come true! I have been wanting to purchase a flocked tree for a while and I finally did it and couldn’t be happier! This one was so quick to set up and I even was able to grab it while it was on sale. Some may think it’s a little extra to put a tree in a bedroom but it is something I have always wanted to do lol. If I could, I would have a tree in every room of the house!

This was my first attempt at putting ribbon on a tree, and definitely won’t be my last! It definitely isn’t perfect, but I am pretty happy with how it came out. I found the ribbon + most of the ornaments at walmart (minus the rae dunn bulbs). I linked the tree and the set of ornaments that I purchased below.

Well that concludes the tour! Thank you so much for stopping by! I hope you enjoyed the tour of our cozy Christmas guest bedroom. Happy holidays!

Xoxo, Steph
